Học Tiếng Hàn Qua Nhạc (Learn Korean with Music)
Last updated: 8 September 2026

This app is published by VanLangTechnologies LLC, Long Bien, Hanoi, Vietnam ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers the iOS and Android apps only.

The short version

There are no user accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth. Nothing you save in the app — your vocabulary list, your playlists, your progress — leaves your device.

What is stored on your device only

Saved vocabulary, playlists, listening progress, your chosen interface language, and whether you have bought the ad-free upgrade. This lives in the app's own storage. We cannot read it, and deleting the app deletes it.

What is sent to our servers

DataWhyKept
The song you opened, and whenTo show a "trending this week" list. Recorded against the song, not against you — no identifier is attached.Aggregated; individual rows pruned after 90 days
Comments you post on a song: the display name you type, the text, and a random id generated on your deviceTo show comments to other learners, and to let you delete or report one. The random id is not linked to you or your device's identifiers — it exists so the app can recognise its own comments.Until you delete the comment
Song requests you submit: the song name and, optionally, a YouTube link and a contact detail you choose to typeTo find and add the song. Only what you type is sent.Until the request is handled
A push notification token, if you allow notificationsTo tell you when a song you asked for has been added. Issued by Apple or Google; it identifies a device installation, not a person.Until you turn notifications off or uninstall
A purchase receipt, if you buy the ad-free upgradeTo confirm the purchase with Apple or Google so ads stay off. We never see your payment details — the stores handle payment and tell us only whether the purchase is valid. For the life of the purchase
The Korean line you tap "explain" onTo generate the grammar explanation. Sent as text, with no identifier attached. Not stored against you

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to limit repeats and measure ads. We request non-personalised ads, which restricts AdMob to contextual targeting rather than a profile built about you. You can reset or limit that identifier in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads), and buying the ad-free upgrade removes ads entirely. See Google's policy.

Other services the app talks to

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing beyond what AdMob does above.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your choices

Turn off notifications in your device settings to stop the push token being used. Delete a comment to remove it. Uninstalling removes everything held on the device. To ask what is held about a comment or request you submitted, or to have it deleted, contact us at the address below — please include the comment text or song name so we can find it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and the new version appears at this address.
